Make documentation of all those incidents that you wrote in your post, including the ones leading up to the sick day harrassment. Proving a pattern of behaviour is key to proving harrassment, so you need as much detail as possible. He will either smarten up or get worse and really hang himself.

Is this workplace harassment?
by babygirl30 ini work in pa at a fortune 500 co. the manager i currently have is lazy, has no backbone, and is completely incompetent!
this is not just my personal opinion either - it is a running 'joke' amongst the entire dept of this man's managerial skills (or lack thereof).
so much so that even the other managers will make comments about my manager inability to properly perform his job...so this is what i'm dealing with.. being a very straightforward person, i find that being upfront about issues/situations seems to make things easier.

by Quillsky ini get a sense, especially from "sob story" threads, that some people would cry about their situations, whatever they were.

I definitely feel there is personality "type" that looks for whatever is "wrong" and complains about it. I actually don't believe that ex-JW's have any more misery than anyone else.
I was just reading about a buddhist nun who eavesdropped on other people's cell phone calls and made a note of what the conversations were about. She said a full 84% of the conversations were just whining and complaining. 10% was mushy, "I love you", stuff. 6% was actually planning, checking in with family, etc.

People Who Refuse to Tip at Restaurants are Embarrassing!
by White Dove inegg and i were treated out to dinner three times last weekend by out of state visiting relatives.
just found out last night that they don't believe in tipping, at all!
we suggested the places to eat and frequent those places ourselves.

The common decency violation is on the part of the restaurant owners who don't pay their workers a living wage and the laws of the country that allow restaurant workers to be paid $2. per hour. You all should revolt down there and get unionized or something.
It also explains why I've heard of staff actually chasing after a customer who didn't tip and calling them names like cheap-ass etc. What kind of way is that to treat a customer? You've totally destroyed their experience and now you want a gratuity for that? If it is some sort of inviolable custom then they should stick the 15% gratuity on every bill and tell people in advance that they are doing that. Although, it's technically not a gratuity if you HAVE to pay it.
